Compassion connects us and protects us all.

This post is a tribute to a dedicated and compassionate human I knew in Hawaii known as the "Bird Lady," Nancy Gosnel (and her family). She operated out of her home as a bird rescue and built an atrium in the middle of it to care for avians that had fallen out of nests, been hit by cars or were injured in any way. I brought three wild birds to her hoping that she could help them. Her skill and compassion went immediately to work as she brought all three birds back to a full recovery free of charge!

  1. Thank you for posting this. If only this could be sent around the world it might begin to dissolve all the wrongness.

  2. Thank you for your comment, I believe compassion is the first learning experience we should have as children as it goes deeper than manners and behavior. It is an absolute pleasure and a duty to talk about areas that connect us to each other and mother earth.
